We are confident that our Year 2 startups will drum up as much excitement and meaningful opportunities for partnership as our previous cohort. Last year, Orange Ball Pest Control and 8byte Creative Studios were the two startups that successfully pitched their businesses to investors. Both startups raised seed investment after Demo Day graduation. Since then, Orange Ball and 8byte have brought on three of their investors to sit alongside the founder and a member of the Safal Partners team on their respective company boards. Safal Partners currently manages the seed fund, meeting with the two startups regularly to ensure each team is on track to hit their investment milestones. Board members approve fund disbursement once the startups have successfully reached their targets. The startup founders themselves say this milestone-driven approach has helped maintain a laser focus on their growth and push overall team performance.
Current investors sitting on the board of Orange Ball Pest Control’s include Trishagni Sakya from KGH Foundation, Prajwal Gadtaula from Business Brainz and Rajiv Sharma from Job Dynamics
Current investors sitting on the board of 8byte Creative Studio include Sabine Diki Shrestha from Snow Lion Investments, Josh Sherchand Leslie from DataMoon and Dije Shrestha from The ICTC Group.
